Heal the wilds and survive magical storms while protecting your dying god!
A century ago, the tiger god Vastan fought a risen demon over the steppes and mountains that are your home, battling for mastery over the earth below. Their war poisoned the land, causing magical storms that twist the mind and the elements alike.
At the moment of Vastan’s eventual triumph she was grievously wounded, retreating beneath the mountains to be cared for by a sect of worshippers known as the Guardians of Tulara.
You are one of those Guardians: a scout who ventures from the secretive monastery to hunt, forage, and trade with those living on the plains below. Protected from the storms by Vastan’s power even as she sleeps, you care for your wounded god in your small, safe community.
Until today.

I liked the writing. It conveys a lot of detail without feeling overly heavy or bloated, and helped me to picture the rolling outdoors and wilds. I think having an option to have stat changes fully visible helps a lot as well.
But if I may ask, how is fishing done in this world? From what I recall, the characters are said to fish, but it's not specified how they do so.
In another part, there is an option to carry salt and seasonings with you, but I'm wondering, is your character proficient in foraging for spices in the wilds? After all, they seem quite skilled in hunting and living off the land.
I sent the final report through the anonymous form.
Thanks so much for this and for the notes on the form, it's much appreciated! I'll clarify the fishing method. With the seasonings, the PC would know how to find fresh herbs that would make things taste nicer, but I figure they're more focused on finding roots/berries (or hunting) when they're foraging so they don't enough time and energy to do so - having the box means they have the flexibility to make their meals a lot nicer. I'll likely give some options to harvest non-essentials like that when the PC's situation is less difficult!
very compelling already. been excited since you announced this on the forums. i like the stat array you chose for this game, verb-as-attribute is always fun.
This is so great, every new one you write is better than the last!
Always a delight to read something you've made!
